The Problem
Career help is scattered — and most AI forgets you
Someone preparing for a job has to stitch the process together alone: one place to practise interviews, another to fix a CV, another to work out which licence or exam they need. And most AI assistants make it worse by starting from zero every time — you explain who you are again in every new chat.
The opportunity was clear: one well-designed AI assistant that knows your goals, remembers your progress, and helps with the whole journey — from choosing a path to walking into the interview ready.

An assistant that actually remembers you
Most AI chats start from zero every time. Zyctra carries what it learns about you from one conversation into the next, so guidance gets more personal the longer you use it. The hard part is deciding what is worth remembering, bringing it back at the right moment, and keeping it all feeling natural rather than intrusive.
Interviews that feel like the real thing
A mock interview only helps if it behaves like one. Zyctra asks a set number of questions based on difficulty, accepts answers typed or spoken, scores each answer out of 10 with feedback, and closes with a full report — an overall score, a hiring result, strengths, areas to improve, and a model answer. Keeping that flow steady across job, technical, behavioural, and licensure-exam interviews took careful product design.
One platform, opened up to developers
Career tools, chat, image generation, and a website builder all had to feel like one product instead of a bundle of separate apps. Then the same engine had to be offered to other builders: one API key adds chat with memory and streaming to any site, and a chat widget installs with a single script tag. The assistant on this very website runs on it.

Zyctra is live and free to start, with no card needed. People use it to practise interviews, plan careers across fields from nursing and engineering to software and law, and build CVs — then stay for chat, image generation, and a website builder that publishes to a shareable link.
I founded it and built it end-to-end: the AI models, the product, the interface, and the platform developers build on. Zyctra runs on its own models, built from scratch — not a wrapper around someone else's API. The result feels fast and cohesive, because nothing was bolted on.
