The Problem
Crypto data is scattered, cluttered, and paywalled
Every day, millions of people try to make sense of the crypto market — but the data is scattered across dozens of sites, locked behind subscriptions, or buried inside cluttered, ad-heavy interfaces. Most trackers show prices and nothing else.
There was a clear gap: a single, clean, free destination that aggregated live prices, market context, news, P2P rates, exchange comparisons, and a Fear & Greed index — all in one premium, fast-loading experience.

Key Technical Challenges
Three problems that shaped the build
Real-time data at scale
Aggregating live prices from CoinGecko, P2P rates from Binance, and market news from CoinDesk — each with different update frequencies, data shapes, and rate limits. The challenge was normalizing it all into one coherent, fast UI without burning API quotas or ever serving stale data.
SEO across 17,000+ pages
Every cryptocurrency needed a unique, fully-structured page with complete metadata, structured data, and fast loading — across 17,000+ entries. Static generation with incremental revalidation was the only way to hit both crawl coverage and Core Web Vitals targets simultaneously.
Monetization without compromise
Exchange reviews and comparisons had to feel editorially credible, not like banner ads. The affiliate model only works if the reviews are genuinely useful — building user trust and sustainable revenue at the same time is as much a product problem as a technical one.

CoinGlance is live and serving real users — tracking 17,000+ cryptocurrencies in real time, with a Fear & Greed index, currency converter, P2P rates, market news, and rated exchange reviews, all free.
The site is SEO-complete across thousands of individual coin pages, PWA-installable to home screen, and monetized through affiliate partnerships — proving that free, high-quality products and sustainable revenue aren't mutually exclusive.
